In 2013, Governors Club played host to an event in support of the Chatham County Education Foundation. A Toast of Governors Club, sponsored by the Wine Society and the Governors Club, included a Spanish Tapas Menu, Spanish Wine Bar, Live Music and a Silent Auction.
Supporters paid for a ticket to the event with 30% of the ticket price being donated directly to the Chatham Education Foundation. Not only that, but 100% of all wine sales profits and 100% of all revenue from the silent auction also went to support our public school students and their teachers with grant programs and partnership projects.
