Bring your big ideas to life in the classroom!
The Chatham Education Foundation announces its Fall 2025 cycle of CEF Teaching Grants to support innovative, creative teaching practices in Chatham County Schools. Whether you want to integrate technology, design hands-on projects, or try a bold new approach, we want to help make it happen.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants: CEF Teaching Grants are open to all certified teachers and instructional staff within the Chatham County Schools.
Projects: Proposed projects must be original, innovative, and designed to improve student learning outcomes. Projects should align with the curriculum and demonstrate potential for scalability and sustainability.
Funding: Grants are awarded based on the project’s scope, impact, and feasibility. Successful applications typically request between $100 and $1,000 but partial funding may be available for greater requests. Total funding available varies each year depending on the outcomes of CEF’s fundraising activities.
CEF encourages applicants to identify and cite additional prospective or committed funding sources in their applications, in particular school PTAs/PTSAs. CEF also encourages collaborations between grade levels and schools.
All proposals must be fully completed including being reviewed by the school’s principal.
A final report form will be due by May 29, 2026.
NOTE: Applicants who have received CEF grants in the past must have completely fulfilled reporting requirements in order to be eligible to submit a new application.
