Chatham Reads, a Chatham County wide literacy collaborative, is hiring a part-time Program Manager co-lead by the Chatham Education Foundation and the Chatham County Schools. The mission of Chatham Reads is to foster community partnerships that are dedicated to ensuring that literacy and reading resources are accessible to all Chatham County residents. As part of a nationwide effort, the Campaign for Grade Level Reading, the Chatham Reads partnership will seek to increase the number of Chatham County School students reading on grade level by the third grade.
Summary
The Program Manager will report directly to the Executive Director of the Chatham Education Foundation, one of the two co-lead organizations managing this collaborative. The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Chatham Reads working closely with the Chatham Reads planning team on projects directly related to literacy in Chatham County. This job will have administrative, data analysis, operations, marketing, book drive management and event planning duties.
