Student Safety and Inclusivity

CEF Board and staff deplore actions that are racist and discriminatory as harmful to the well-being of all of our students and to the community.

CEF fully supports the district’s commitment “to dismantling racism and other negative influences that affect our school community.” We take seriously the district’s pledge to ensure “that every person feels valued and respected for who they are and what they contribute to their school and our community.”

Through our work as advocates and fundraisers we seek to support those policies and practices, resources and training opportunities, that promote and extend work dedicated to the mission of educating and caring for all Chatham County students in ways that honor their dignity, worthiness and potential as learners and productive, positive members of their local and our global community.
