Science Students Conduct Experiments at Margaret Pollard Middle School

March 2013 Students in Julie Goodberlet’s science class at Margaret Pollard Middle School conducting experiments with state of the art Venier Labquest equipment funded with a 2012 grant obtained by CEF from the Triangle Community Foundation’s program and a previous Progress Energy Foundation grant.   All middle grades science teachers in all Chatham County Public Schools now have access to these 21st Century instructional tools.  CEF’s partnership with TCF in support of STEM continued this year with an award of funds with for similar inquiry-science equipment to be use in Chatham County high school labs.
