Student Emergency Fund

The Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) has funding available to support Chatham County Schools students and their families, who are experiencing a crisis. Funds will be used for items such as:

• The purchase of grocery store gift cards or gas cards;

• Household supplies such as cleaning supplies or furniture;

• Hygiene products, clothing, etc.;

• One-time payment of utility bills, pest removal, etc.;

• Other urgent one-time expenses. 

This resource is available on a case-by-case basis and can be requested by school administrators, social workers, school counselors, Orgullo Latinx Pride Coordinators, and Communities in Schools Support Specialists/Coaches. Families may not request support directly. Please complete the requested information and a member of the CEF team will be in touch as soon as possible.
