Preparing students—and schools—for a rapidly changing world.

Innovation

Innovation is about looking forward with courage. We help schools adapt to an ever-changing world by supporting creative teaching, new learning models, and bold ideas that reflect the needs of today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce. Innovation means piloting new approaches, learning from failure, and scaling what works—so Chatham County Schools and our students can lead our region and our state.

Programs that fuel Innovation include:

  • Pilot programs and classroom experiments supported through CEF Teaching Grants

  • Partnerships with community businesses that connect students to future-focused careers

  • Support for #OneChatham strategic initiatives, enabling Chatham County Schools to pilot and expand innovative approaches that meet evolving student and workforce needs

“This combined academics, functional life skills, pre-vocational training, and community involvement into one authentic learning experience. We are incredibly grateful to CEF for supporting a project that has made such a lasting impact on both our students and our entire school community.”
