CEF hosts student logo design contest

Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) is holding a student logo design contest.

The contest is open to any Chatham County Schools middle or high school student. Individuals or teams of students are encouraged to submit their original works. Entries are due by Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

The logo should be modern, mission driven, attractive, readable, memorable, and reproducible in print and electronic media.
A selection committee, made up of CEF board members, will evaluate contest entries based on relevance, originality, and aesthetic quality. Please note that the winning logo may or may not be used, but the design will be used as a basis for branding.

The winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

The Chatham Education Foundation strengthens communities in Chatham county by partnering with residents, businesses, and foundations to improve education opportunities for public school students. CEF strives to support the public education system in Chatham county by opening doors to educational opportunities, providing resources for professional development, and bringing awareness to literacy throughout the community.

Contest details:

-Cover sheet including: individual/team name, school, grade, class/club affiliation, email address
-Create a 2-color logo design using the colors black and blue
-Designs may be submitted in .jpg, .pdf or hand drawn formats
-Computer generated images need to be 300dpi; hand drawn images need to be 8”x10” layout
